About Me

Like I said earlier, and you probably knew this beforehand, my name is Joe Michalski. I am a 23-years-old and from the small town of Ord, Nebraska. I have two older sisters: Kate and Nancy. And my mom is Sharon, but she goes by Corky, and my dad, Galen.

For the first three years of college I went to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After changing my major I decided to transfer.

I am currently a student at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. I’m set to graduate next summer with a degree in Mass Communications with a focus in Public Relations.

After college I plan on attending Graduate School to pursue a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration. When I grow up I hope to become an Athletic Director, or best case scenario, a General Manager.

Athletics has always been a huge part of my life; From playing baseball with a plastic bat in our living room as a kid, to running at the State Finals in high school.

Being from Nebraska I am only a true fan to one team: The Nebraska Cornhuskers. On Saturdays during the fall I will either be planted in front of the TV, or apart of the 90,000 fans gathered in Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.

Memorial Stadium packed to the brim with Husker fans. Go Big Red!

My other main hobby is the outdoors. I love nature. This was instilled in me as a child when my parents would take the family camping up to Ely, Minnesota. Being in the deep forests of Northern Minnesota is something I look forward to year round.

My love of the outdoors is the reason why I love taking pictures of landscapes. There is nothing like capturing the moment of a literal picture-perfect scene.

All of the photographs you see on this website were taken by me and are available for purchase.
